For Jock               Farewell to a Friend

The news of the passing of John McLoughlin reached many of us during the ALMS
race at Laguna Seca. Jock never recovered from the illness that left him stricken
just before his newly formed JML team prepared to run a pair of Panoz LMP’s at
Sebring for the 2003 season. Jock was more than just another racer, he was truly
a renaissance man. Aside from his considerable technical ability, Jock was a
astute judge of driving talent. However, what the man will be remembered for, is
the simple fact that he was a great friend to many.

There will be a proper tribute to John “Jock” McLoughlin with words from those
who worked, drove, and knew the man as well as a photo gallery in the coming
weeks.

Thanks for everything Jock….
