What a difference a year makes.
2008's edition of the Sebring Winter Test was all
Peugeot and Porsche and Audi and Accura. The future
was bright and the prospects were limitless.
Then came the Fall.
2009 and all but the Accura have gone, hopefully though
not for good.
However there was still much to celebrate and admire.
Accura's stunning LMP1 contender.
BMW back with an M3.
Dyson's Lola Mazda Coupes.
The ALMS, like most of us, will have a bit of belt
tightening in the foreseeable future but the fundamental
concept is sound.
So let's enjoy the racing as it happens and remember
that these times will change for the better.
