Goodbye to All That

Laguna Seca was the venue for the final round of the 2008 ALMS, yet amid all the visible success and development of the series in the past three years there was a palpable sense of fin de siècle.  The news of fresh financial disasters that will impact the racing in 2009 became almost an hourly occurance

To what extent no one knows, the sky may be falling, the earth moving, the Emperor has no clothes and the Hindenburg will never fly again.
