Down on the Waterfront: Bruce Benedict pirates the Volvo XC 90

After having the biggest opening weekend of any film in history, it is pretty obvious
that the suits at marketing for Volvo played their cars right ! Having your boat
attached to the armada that is Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is
nothing short of getting the treasure…. Once again Volvo called on our friend
Bruce Benedict for images of the XC 90 prior to it being spirited away and
hidden… just getting the pirate ride to the dock was cloak and dagger enough. For
Bruce though, shooting the Volvo had it’s own strange twist: he had worked with
Pirates director, Gregor “Gore” Verbinski on a previous film… we at scp wanted
to put these up before the film’s release but couldn’t post until we had permission
from the mouse. So here they are….

And no, I haven’t a clue as to where the Pirated Volvo XC 90 is buried…neither
does Bruce.
