![]() ![]() The A1 Grand Prix of Nations roared into Monterey, California in March and ![]() proceeded to lay a claim to one of best set of on track battles in the long, storied ![]() history of Laguna Seca Raceway. While the A1GP will never be mistaken for the ![]() ALMS, a great many of the team personal are familiar faces to fans of sports car ![]() racing and as Kerry Morse points out, if it is at Laguna Seca, it is going to get ![]() covered. The weekend was something else. ![]() ![]() With heavy rain and snow in the surrounding coastal mountains rearing its head ![]() gaining track time was a small problem. With a break in the weather, our friend and ![]() photographer Bruce Benedict was on the move capturing this montage of colors in ![]() this race of nations. With the roar of the small but enthusiastic crowd and the rain ![]() coverd track, the rooster tails were flying with blinding spray as the cars headed up ![]() to the corkscrew and down.
