The former Hendricks Field was witness last weekend to some of the finest racing in
the contemporary sportscar scene...........Audi were top dogs again but Acura made
an instant impact on their ALMS debut giving the boys from Ingolstadt and their
cousins from Weissach plenty to think about. Corvette, Ferrari and Porsche also
played their part in the 12 Hour classic. Rain and gales in the lead up to the race
could not dampen the spirits..........and SCP had local maestro Rick Dole on hand to
work his magic................come rain or shine. |
