It may not have been the midnight special but as darkness fell over the Monterey peninsula the intensity increased at Laguna Seca Raceway. David Lister made the haul via BA-U.K. with lens and assorted Nikon paraphernalia in hand to capture the goings on at party central. The crowd was festive, the teams primed, the drivers pumped and the on track action a frenzy of color and smoke.
