The 2007 edition of the Rolex 24 Hours held at Daytona International Speedway last
weekend was by any definition of the word a CLASSIC.
The usual sportscar suspects were joined by a host of luminaries from all aspects of
the sport, Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, Paul Tracy and Jimmie Johnson all
drove their collective socks off. How this line up can be improved on or even matched
in 2008 will be a tricky problem for Roger Edmondson and his gang at GrandAm,
maybe a trick combo of Elvis, Mother Teresa and Sonny Liston might make the nut,
maybe not but The King would be pure Mojo on the banking.
