The Sun shines, the engines roar, the crowds flock in..............
It is the 2009 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and as usual SCP is fortunate to bring
you the visual delights served up by Simon Hildrew.
Of all the fantastic photos included here, perhaps those of the late Henry Surtees are most
poignant, as the young driver was killed racing at Brands Hatch a few short weeks later.
It is a reminder, if any were needed, of the eternal truth of the command Carpe Diem.
