Middle Eastern Promise

Earlier this month we witnessed the first endurance race of 2009, no not the Rolex 24 but the Dubai 24 Hours.

It is essentially a club race but with a huge grid of over 70 cars taking part. These were drawn from all over the world, some famous, some not.

With that many cars there is always action and even a close finish, under a lap in 24 hours.

And it is with great pleasure that we introduce another member of the SCP family, Darren Rycroft, whose images give a real taste of what it is like to race in the desert.
